Founded in 1980, Howrah Electrical Industries commenced its operations as a small business entity manufacturing patterns for sand casting. With the growth of the company, we also added nonferrous foundry operations and since then industrial castings have become the major part of our operations.
Our company gained significant growth in 1998 when we began fabricating a proprietary line of Power Transmission products. Also, the development of self propelled electrical systems was done. Then the casting operations increased, product lines grew, and steel forming and galvanizing operations were added. Further, since the year 2000 till present time, the nonferrous casting operations are increasing and we have added more varied product lines.
For supporting power transmission industry, we, Howrah Electrical Industries, are manufacturing disconnect switches of different sizes and types. The Product Design Unlimited’s acquisition in 2007 added to our capability of providing a complete assortment of substation connectors.
